Required vaccinations

Puppies under 24 weeks old require:

• two completed sets of Distemper combination vaccine

Dogs over 24 weeks old require:

• three completed sets of Distemper combination vaccine
• Rabies vaccine

Suggested Vaccinations

• Bordetella
• Flea, tick and lice preventive treatment

Personal Play dog daycare is for dogs who aren't suited for a social group environment. It provides them with one-on-one playtime with an attendant or, when appropriate, with another dog.

​This is not a training program, but is an activity and enrichment daycare program to provide your dog with personalized care to give them the best day possible. 

Due to staffing resources required to provide one-on-one play, a personal play daycare day has more rest periods and shorter play periods than a social-based daycare program and is more expensive than a social-based program.

• Intact dogs over 8 months who aren't a good fit for social or CLASS
• Dogs who become hyperaroused in group play
• Dogs who do best with one-on-one play with another dog
• Dogs requiring medical rest or recovery
• Senior dogs who may not enjoy the busyness of social play

Book a meet & greet! We can get to know you and your dog and discuss your goals for a daycare program and determine whether this is the right fit for you and your dog. 

There is no set schedule or frequency for your dog to attend. You're welcome to book your dog in on any days that you like. We have very limited availability for this program. Advance registration is required.

There are several reasons a dog is referred to Personal Play. If a dog is referred to Personal Play due to play behaviours associated with hyperarousal relating to hormones, we can reassess your pup for Social Daycare once they've been neutered. If a dog is referred to Personal Play for safety reasons due to their response to others and engagement with others in social daycare, we do not undertake to reintroduce your dog to a social group.

Activity enrichment including one-on-one pool time, sniffaris, agility, fetch or flirt pole, best friend play (as appropriate) and other activities

We do! We accept puppies after their second set of vaccinations. Puppies must have been in your home for at least one week and be 12 weeks of age.

We do accept all dogs, including intact dogs over 8 months old for Personal Play daycare.

All dogs in our daycare program play naked! Naked play is the safest play for dogs.
