The starting point for our training programs
A Training Meet & Greet is an in-person consultation in our training facility with you and your dog. We've found an in-person consultation to be the best foundation for any following training plan.
The Training Meet & Greet is a great no-obligation way for you to:
- Meet the trainer and interview their training methodologies
- Discuss your challenges and goals
- Provide background details
- Decide whether you feel the trainer, their approach and the potential plan is a good fit for you
The Training Meet & Greet allows the trainer to:
- Meet you and your dog
- Gain a little insight into your relationship with your dog
- Get valuable information about your experiences with your dog
- Answer any questions you might have
- Provide some potential training options they feel would best suit the challenges you've been experiencing and support your goals
Vaccination Requirements
Dogs under 24 weeks must have completed two series of Distemper combination vaccines.
Dogs over 24 weeks must have completed three series of Distemper combination vaccine or be current on their adult Distemper schedule and be current on Rabies
A minimum wait period of FOUR DAYS after a vaccination administration or update is required before attending a training session or class.

Because we custom schedule these, training Meet & Greets aren't available in our online booking system.
We'll find out your availability, cross-reference the trainer's schedule, and schedule the consultation for a time that works!

In advance of your meet & greet, please fill in the online questionnaire. This provides the trainer with important background information to help you and the trainer get the most value out of your initial meet & greet.

Our standard 30-minute consultation with a trainer. This is a great foundation for us to learn about your challenges and review some options that might be the best fit for your challenges, schedule and budget.
$30 plus gst

For dogs with a history of reactivity or aggression or a bite history, we will schedule an hour-long training meet & greet. This additional time allows the trainer to dive deeper into history, goals and review next possible options.
$60 plus gst
Training Referral Options
Mini-private sessions
A four-week program of 30-minute sessions focusing on a specific challenge or goal.
Private Sessions
One-hour private training sessions for behaviour or obedience. These sessions can be scheduled in-studio or in-home depending on the training challenges and goals.
Group Classes
Three-week or six-week group classes with focus areas from walking to trick training to basic behaviour and obedience.
Boarding Prep Training
Often coupled with our CLASS daycare program, this program works on building your dog's confidence in our facility.

Required vaccinations

We can schedule Training Meet & Greets seven days a week. Please call 587-787-3713 and we can set up a consultation that matches your schedule.
We have a trainer who specializes in human reactive dogs. For these meet and greets, the trainer will outline specific safety protocols and process for safely bringing your dog into our training room. We follow all principles of Fear Free practices to reduce the stress for both your dog and you.
We have a trainer who specializes in dog reactivity. For these meet and greets, we schedule during a time when we can ensure you don't cross paths or have visual experience with any other dogs.
