At The Happy Hound Play Park, we believe every puppy deserves a strong start. Our positive reinforcement puppy training, play and care options are designed to help your young dog build confidence, learn essential life skills, and thrive in a safe, supportive environment.
Through engaging activities, guidance and structured socialization, we create a foundation for a happy, well-adjusted companion—while giving you peace of mind that your puppy is in loving, expert hands.
Our programs take place indoors in our climate-controlled facility in south-central Edmonton at 8305 Wagner Rd NW.
PUPPY Classes & Training
Drop-In Puppy Classes
These drop-in times combine important safe socialization opportunities for your puppy with supported structured learning for you!
Register for dates that work for you and your puppy, with no minimum commitment.
We provide a safe, disinfected environment for your puppy to learn and grow and for you to get the resources you need to support early success.
Ages: 9 weeks - 14 weeks. Puppies must have completed one series of Distemper combination administered by a vet and must have been in your home a minimum of one week.
6-Week Puppy Class
Communication, Confidence & Social Skills
This 6-week Puppy Class is ideal for puppies over 12 weeks as they progress in their social and behavioural development.
Whether you've done early training or are just getting started, this class focuses on everyday manners, self-regulation, and confidence-building.

A behaviour and training foundations program for puppies 12 - 24 weeks
Set the stage for confidence, strong social skills, and a stronger bond with you. Puppy kindergarten not only provides your puppy with essential experiences, structure and learning, but also provides you with the support and answers you need during your puppy’s critical development stage.
Through this program, your puppy will have an excellent foundation of basic obedience cues and skills such as loose leash walking, but most importantly will learn essential communication skill, have safe socialization experiences, and grow in confidence.
Puppy Kindergarten takes play during daycare. Your puppy benefits from safe social experiences and structured training sessions.
