ABOUT OUR LEVEL 1 CLASS
This six-week course provides the foundation that will help you help your dog become the relationship partner you want. You want your dog to master the basics, and this class will give you the language both you and your dog can understand.
In this class you and your dog will learn or refresh sit, down, stay, place, come/recall, and loose leash walking. This class will prepare your dog for success out in the real world.
We'll go through all the basics with different levels of distractions so they're ready to go from class to practice in the world with you.
We will also practice turns and movement with loose leash walking to make your relationship with your dog better and easier, and to make walking safe and enjoyable for the whole family.
By the end of this course, in addition to understanding how to teach your dog in ways they will understand, you and your puppy will walk away with the skills of:

This six-week course goes beyond the basics of loose leash walking and incorporates sniffaris, recall and enrichment walks to create a concrete bond to connect you and your dog.

Our six-week beginner scent detection class is a great first look at the sport for parent and their pup. We go over the basics, equipping you and your pup with a solid foundation that can be used for fun or to continue on to training for competition level.

This three set mini class focuses on getting you and your dog ready to volunteer as a therapy team in a variety of environments.
This class goes over all the information needed and answers any questions you may have about volunteering with your dog.
Your dog does not need to be of age to start volunteering yet, as this class only gives you an idea of what to expect if you decide you’d like to volunteer.

ABOUT OUR REACTIVITY SEMINAR
Frustrated by your dog barking at the door, barking on leash, barking at people, the neighbours, or just about anything?
Then you'll want to join us for th is in-person educational and essential seminar suited for reactive dog owners or aspiring dog trainers.
Over two hours, you'll learn why dogs bark and how to help them to not. You'll walk away with a solid understanding of next steps to help your dog and claim some peace, quiet and contentment.

Suggested Vaccinations
Your dog does not need to be spayed or neutered. Female dogs in heat are not able to participate in group classes until 30 days from the beginning of their heat cycle.
Yes, absolutely! We allow a maximum of two people per dog per class.
We keep class size very small to provide the best experience and value for you and your dog. We accept a maximum of 5 registrants per class, with some classes only accepting 4. Small class size benefits you by allowing the trainer to focus on your specific experience and questions.

If you miss a class
If you are sick for a class or otherwise unable to make a scheduled class, the trainer will provide you with the homework for that missed class. There are no make-up classes offered if you miss a class due to your schedule or sickness.
Cancellation policy
Payment for class is non-refundable or transferrable if cancellation is made less than two weeks in advance of the class start date. Payment is transferrable for a future class within three months of original class date if cancellation is made more than two weeks in advance of the class start date.
