Send your dog for a Positive Reinforcement Board and Train Program. Feel confident knowing your dog is being trained in an environment that looks out for your dog's overall wellbeing as much as it does the outcome of the training process.
Your dog stays with us in our fully climate-controlled facility and has structured activity and engagement times best-suited to them, their needs and your training goals.
We provide DAILY updates on how your dog is doing in their activity program, their training program, and whether they're having any challenges or whether we have any recommendations.
During their stay, we focus on teaching foundational skills, addressing specific challenges, and building your dog's confidence using force-free, science-backed methods.
LENGTH OF PROGRAM VARIES BY GOALS, TRAINING CURRICULUM, SCHEDULE AND BUDGET: There is no one specific length of program. Your dog's individual program will be discussed with the trainer and a schedule of stay and curriculum for training created in consultation with the trainer.

Get started with A Board & Train Program
STEP 1: Schedule a Meet & Greet
A Meet & Greet is a 30-minute pre-booked time where we assess your dog’s comfort away
from you, with us, and in our environment. All dogs spend non-activity and non-training time in a private kennel. These kennels are spacious, and we offer support for dogs to relax and be calm, but we want to ensure a board and train environment is the ideal for your dog within which to learn.
At the Meet & Greet:
- we take a video of the Meet & Greet and can walk you through any behaviours or communication cues we note that will inform our program recommendation.
- we will recommend our Social, CLASS or Personal Play activity program.
At the end of the Meet & Greet:
- we will book your dog's First Day of Daycare in advance of the Board & Train program starting to ensure we can safely accommodate your dog in our facility.
STEP 2: Bring your dog for the First Day of Daycare
During this day, we will:
- begin relationship building with your dog.
- affirm the activity program we selected for them (Social, CLASS or Personal).
- assess your dog for any additional specific behaviours or learning we think they may benefit from in their Board & Train program.
At the end of this day, we will:
- review your dog’s first day and experience.
- provide you with a package of materials.
- book your Pre-Board & Train consultation call with the trainer and discuss Board & Train dates.

STEP 3: Attend the Pre-Board & Train Consultation Call with the Trainer
During this call or in-person consultation, the trainer will:
- discuss your desired curriculum for your dog’s program.
- book in your dog's days of Board & Train, if not already done so.
- schedule a mid-point consultation, based on length of stay.
- schedule the final hand-off consultation for the final day.
STEP 4: Check-in your dog for their Board & Train on the scheduled start date
During each day, your dog will:
- participate in their daycare activity program.
- have structured and supported rest time.
- have training sessions with the trainer.
Each day you will receive:
- an email update providing details on how your dog did during play time and during breaks.
Every three days, you will receive:
- an email from the trainer with a video showing progress and what we've been working on. For stays less than 4 nights, you will receive a video on the final day.
STEP 5: Final Board & Train In-Person Session
On your dog’s final day, we will:
- meet with you for a 30-minute hand-off session
At the transition session, you will:
- meet with the trainer to debrief the program and receive hands-on learning
- discuss any next steps or support you might like
- schedule your one-week post-program in-person private session
- schedule additional private sessions, if you wish

Required vaccinations
Puppies under 24 weeks old require:
- two completed sets of Distemper combination vaccine
Dogs over 24 weeks old require:
- three completed sets of Distemper combination vaccine
- Rabies vaccine
Suggested Vaccinations
- Bordetella
- Flea, tick and lice preventive treatment
Your dog does not need to be spayed or neutered. Female dogs in heat are not able to attend a board and train until 30 days from the beginning of their heat cycle.
Yes, absolutely! We encourage the people who will be working with your dog day-to-day to be present.
We will recommend a minimum length of board and train program based on your goals, your schedule, your budget and the challenges you are facing. We keep you very informed on progress and can make recommendations on length during the program.
We follow and teach science-based positive reinforcement practices and methodologies.
Cancellation policy
If cancelled more than seven days in advance of the Board & Train program start date, the deposit less 3% admin fee and 3% credit card processing fee can be refunded. If cancelled less than seven days in advance of the start date, the deposit less 3% admin fee is transferrable to a service credit to be used within the next 90 days. If cancelled less than 24 hours in advance of the start date, the deposit is non-refundable or transferrable. Holiday boarding policies apply during holiday seasons. Please see your client service agreement for full details.
