Personal Play: Your dog must come for two daycare days within the preceding two weeks of the boarding start date.
Begin with a Meet & Greet
A Meet & Greet lets you meet us, lets your dog meet us, and gives us a basic insight into your dog's comfort and confidence with us, comfort away from you, comfort in a new place, and social comfort with others.
We particularly assess for your dog's ability to be calm and comfortable in our environment and away from you.
During your dog's stay with us, they will a have private sleep kennel (standard size is 16 sq ft by 6 ft tall), and ensuring your dog can comfortably rest is essential for their safety and for their wellbeing.
We have a boarding prep program and multiple other options to help your dog become comfortable with us and in our environment so that they thrive and you have peace of mind.
**If you are traveling from afar and unable to attend in advance for a Meet & Greet, contact us at 587-787-3713
If, at any point, your dog indicates they're overwhelmed or uncomfortable, we listen to what your dog is communicating and don't compel them into a situation they're uncomfortable with.
If we have anything we want to debrief with you, we can show you and walk you through the behaviours we're observing, so you can first-hand see and understand why we're making a specific daycare recommendation.
We will recommend Social Daycare, Confidence Learning & Social Skills daycare or Personal Play daycare based on the Meet & Greet assessment.
We require ONE FULL DAY of daycare to be completed in advance of a boarding stay.
We have a boarding prep program and multiple other options to help your dog become comfortable with us and in our environment so that they thrive and you have peace of mind.

Absolutely! We encourage all potential clients to tour our facility and meet our staff before bringing their dog. You can schedule a tour by contacting us.
We can occasionally complete the Meet & Greet and the First Day of Daycare and then roll into the first night of boarding on the same day. Individual charge for each service applies.
When rolling all services and processes into one day, we do require you or someone to be able to pick up your dog in the event that, during your dog's first day with us, we determine we are not able to accommodate them safely.
If a dog exhibits extreme separation or confinement anxiety to the point they endanger themselves while resting or while in a play park, we will require you or your emergency contact to pick them up.
Our standard size kennel is 16 sq ft by 6 ft tall and are fully enclosed. We have large sizes available and also have smaller home-style crates for dogs who are comfortable and used to sleeping in them at home.
Each dog or sibling set is assigned their own space for sleeping, rest, and eating.
Our sleeping areas are separate from the play areas so that dogs can truly disengage and rest away from the busyness of other play groups.
