Additional Enrichment & Engagement for Your Dog's Day
On average, dogs spend about 50% of each day sleeping, 30% awake but relaxing, and just 20% being active, which means our responsibility is to ensure we support positive experiences and create opportunity for both awake but relaxing times and active times.
Each day includes a very scheduled program of activity and rest to avoid hyperarousal in dogs, to ensure we have only small play groups of 15 or fewer dogs, and to ensure we are supporting a dog's need for a balance of relaxed wakefulness and activity. During rest, we work with the dogs in our care to practice and reinforce being calm and relaxed so they get the full benefit of a well-rounded intentional program.
With our trainers, we have developed a selection of food, physical and mental enrichment activities designed to round out your dog's day to balance the busyness of group activity with the reward of one-on-one enrichment.
