The best start for your young puppy—right when it matters most.
Our 3-class Junior Puppy Class is designed specifically for puppies under 16 weeks, during their most critical window for social and behavioural development. This early-learning course helps build confidence, prevent behaviour issues, and start training off right in a fun, supportive setting.
In this fun and interactive course, you’ll learn to understand and communicate with your puppy while they gain valuable social experiences in a safe and controlled environment.
In This Class, You’ll Learn:
- Early Puppy Behaviour: Understand natural puppy behaviours and how to gently shape them.
- Safe Socialization: Give your puppy positive exposure to new people, pups, sounds, and objects during this sensitive period.
- Foundational Communication: Begin building a shared language and trust with your pup through positive reinforcement.
Why It Matters: The AVSAB (American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior) emphasizes that early socialization outweighs the minimal risk of disease when done in a controlled, clean environment. This class helps prevent fear-based behaviours before they start.

Early training and socialization are critical for raising a happy, well-adjusted dog. This course ensures your pup builds a solid foundation of trust, good habits, and positive interactions.
How do we ensure a controlled, sanitary environment?
At our puppy classes, we follow those exact standards:
- Clean, disinfected training spaces (clients must bring indoor-only shoes to wear for class)
- Limited class sizes (Maximum of four)
- Health checks and vaccination verification
- Positive, supervised play and training
Training Details:
- Location: Indoors at our climate-controlled training facility, 8305 Wagner Rd NW, Edmonton, AB.
- Training Style: We use science-based positive reinforcement techniques to create a safe, effective, and fun learning experience for you and your puppy.
After completing Junior Puppy Class, you’ll be ready to advance to Intermediate Puppy Class, where you’ll build on these foundations and continue your training journey.

Registration Requirements
- Puppies 8 - 16 weeks of age
- One series of vaccines administered by a vet
- In the home for at least one week

Required vaccinations
For Junior Puppy Preschool, puppies require one series of vet-administered vaccinations. For Intermediate Puppy Preschool, puppies require two completed sets of Distemper combination vaccine
Dogs over 24 weeks old require:
- three completed sets of Distemper combination vaccine
- Rabies vaccine
Suggested Vaccinations
- Bordetella
- Flea, tick and lice preventive treatment
Your dog does not need to be spayed or neutered. Female dogs in heat are not able to participate in group classes until 30 days from the beginning of their heat cycle.
Yes, absolutely! We allow a maximum of two people per dog per class.
We keep class size very small to provide the best experience and value for you and your dog. We accept a maximum of 5 registrants per class, with most classes only accepting 4. Small class size benefits you by allowing the trainer to focus on your specific experience and questions.
We follow and teach science-based positive reinforcement practices and methodologies.
If you miss a class
If you are sick for a class or otherwise unable to make a scheduled class, the trainer will provide you with the homework for that missed class. There are no make-up classes offered if you miss a class due to your schedule or sickness. You are welcome to book the trainer for a 30-minute private session to get caught up or have one-on-one instruction for $50.
Cancellation policy
Payment for class is non-refundable or transferrable if cancellation is made less than two weeks in advance of the class start date. Payment is transferrable for a future class within three months of original class date if cancellation is made more than two weeks in advance of the class start date.
