Our Board & Train program in Edmonton is for dog parents who want expert training support while their dog stays in a structured, professional, positive environment. We are a positive-reinforcement training facility and do not use e-collars or prongs.
This immersive training experience allows our skilled trainers to work one-on-one with your dog, reinforcing positive behaviours, breaking down past habits, and helping them develop skills that transfer smoothly to life at home.
Feel confident knowing your dog is being trained in an environment that looks out for your dog's overall wellbeing as much as it does the outcome of the training process.
BOARD & TRAIN PROGRAMS START AT 5 DAYS. TOTAL LENGTH OF PROGRAM CAN VARY BY GOALS, TRAINING CURRICULUM, SCHEDULE AND BUDGET.
We are located at 8305 Wagner Rd NW, Edmonton, AB

A Board & Train is ideal for dogs who need focused, consistent training in a controlled setting. This program is particularly beneficial for:
Perfect for dogs who need to build or refine basic obedience skills like sit, stay, leash manners, recall, polite greetings, and impulse control.
Helps dogs who overreact to people, other dogs, or new environments develop confidence and appropriate responses.
Supports training for excessive barking, jumping up, counter surfing, demand behaviours, and overall impulse control.
Beneficial for nervous or insecure dogs who need support building their confidence in new environments or with new experiences.
Custom-tailored programs available for advanced obedience, cooperative care, or specific behavioural goals.
You don't! A board and train is great if you do need boarding or don't live locally, but you don't have to give up your dog to a board and train! Learn how our Day Train program can help change your life while keeping your dog close to your heart and in your home.
Your dog participates in one of our activity daycare programs when not training. We have activity programs for social dogs, for dogs needing confidence built, and for unsocial dogs.
You can select from between two to four training sessions per day. These are scheduled throughout the day and around their activity and rest time.
We want you to be as connected to your dog during their time with us as possible. Each day we send an email update informing you on how your dog is doing during their activity times and rest times, their quality of sleep and their appetite.
We have large private kennels for resting, sleeping and eating. Our kennels range from 16 sq ft to 32 sq ft. Our boarding and activity parks are lit with lots of natural light and designed in-keeping with Fear Free principles.
For a board & train program to be effective, your dog needs to be comfortable away from you and in a boarding environment. If your dog has serious separation anxiety or confinement anxiety, we do not recommend a board & train environment.
Submit a training intake questionnaire. We'll reach out to coordinate a call or in-person consult with a trainer to discuss your challenges, your goals and your budget. You can ask any questions you may have about our training or program. This is a great first start whether you're sure or not if this is a right program for you and your dog.
If you're confident this is the program for you, we'll also use this call to discuss curriculum, dates and getting all steps set up.
You can do this online at the link below, or can call us at 587-787-3713 and we can set you up with an account.
An account is required to make any bookings.

We're very intentional about your dog's stay with us and want to be sure we match your dog with the correct activity program while with us in addition to the correct training plan.

Check-out day and time isn't always the most-conducive to a private training go-home session. Travel plans, time of day, and the length of stay can all factor into whether check-out day is the ideal day for that in-person private training session.
To ensure support for you and flexibility to schedule that important session at the most-conducive time, on check-out day we send you a hand-off video reviewing curriculum and progress and providing instruction, and we either complete the private training session on check-out day or on the day we scheduled when setting up your program.
Our Board & Train programs begin with 5 nights/5 days of training. Total length of program depends on your goals, budget and need and are priced per day after the initial five days.
