Your dog deserves a daycare program that nurtures their mind and encourages their confidence. We have a big picture goal for your dog when they come to daycare with us, and that goal is to see them on a path of consistent growth in their confidence, enjoyment of time and fulfilment with their relationships.
We prioritize meeting a dog's need for activity, relaxed wakefulness, and sleep. Our facility follows the 3 Components of Care, and for our social program, we use the Social Measures of Success to keep you informed of how your dog is doing within each day. Our daycare program is founded on what we'd want for our dogs and what we'd expect any caregiver to deliver on.
Our daycare program is not a "play all day" model. All dogs have rest periods throughout the day and we support your dog in achieving relaxed wakefulness. Our programs are designed to enrich your dog's day with structured play and rest and to fill up their emotional and psychological stores instead of depleting them.
We practice a rest and enrichment model of daycare to ensure dogs are maintaining appropriate arousal levels and not becoming hyperaroused.
We have small, supervised play groups and we alternate between play and rest throughout the day.
We have experienced and educated caregivers in with each play group, not just watching from outside. Hands-on engagement, support and interaction with each play group is essential for your dog's safety and wellbeing.
Safe play isn't just about small play group size, it's also about having large park spaces so your dog can run, play and explore.
Our parks are air conditioned and fully climate controlled in all weather.
Your dog's best day should match exactly what your dog needs. We have carefully-planned activity and food enrichment options to match your dog's instincts, play style, and tastes.
We have spaces for small dogs, middle-sized dogs and large dogs. You never have to worry about your dog being mismatched in size or intimidated by others.
Our responsibility is to support your dog’s
ability to be awake but relaxed and to get
the reprieve from play they need to rest, charge
their social battery, and get ready for an
additional round of activity.
We assess a dog’s ability to communicate, which is both their comprehension of the verbal and non-verbal indicators of other dogs and their ability to clearly and respectfully signal both verbally and non-verbally to others.
We observe a dog’s interest in others and receptivity to other dogs’ engagement and overtures. Not at all dogs need to love to play with others or be the life of the party, but we want to ensure your dog’s success and comfort with us, and social interest means being engaged with others in the way they’re comfortable with, which provides value and enrichment to their day.
We want to ensure that a daycare program adds value, and being comfortable with the new means they’re confident enough to get value from and growth within a social program.
We evaluate each dog’s learned play behaviours and assess where on the spectrum they may be for social maturity and experience. Dogs learn from their environment and from available play partners, and it’s important for us to know and understand where they are currently in their play style and development so we can best support their development and understand their needs.

We do! We accept puppies after their second set of vaccinations. Puppies must have been in your home for at least one week and be 12 weeks of age.
We do accept intact dogs over 8 months old. Their play program, whether social group or personal play will be determined by their behaviour in social group and the other dogs' responses. If a dog isn't thriving in social group, our personal play program is ideal. There is a $5/day fee for intact dogs over 8 months old for daycare.
All dogs in our daycare program play naked! Naked play is the safest play for dogs.
All-day play is overstimulating, exhausting and tiring. Dogs, just like children, need breaks to process all they're experiencing, to decompress, rest and recharge, and to maintain their play engagement at a positive level and maintain their social battery below their exhaustion threshold.
By rotating through play and rest, we are able to let each dog truly play during their play sessions and not to simply exist in a room full of 60 other dogs.
Our mandate is to improve your pup's life and give them the best experiences that support their development socially, psychologically and emotionally through intentionally-designed experiences and opportunities.
